Install WavuWebTv

Enter the passkey from your approval message. We'll verify it and give you the installer for your station.

Step 1 · Enter your passkey

Format: 20 characters in 5 groups of 4, separated by dashes. It was sent to you by email, WhatsApp, or SMS when your application was approved.
Passkey verified. Your installer is ready.

Step 2 · Download the installer

Download installer (.tar.gz)

Step 3 · Install on your machine

  1. Extract the tarball you downloaded: 
    tar -xzf wavuweb-dist-*.tar.gz
  2. Enter the extracted directory: 
    cd wavuweb-dist-*
  3. Run the installer. It will ask for your passkey again. 
    bash install.sh
  4. Follow the prompts. When it finishes, it prints your station's URL, admin credentials, and where your station key was saved.
  5. Keep that station key safe. You will need it for updates. If you lose it, contact support.
Windows: extract the tarball, open PowerShell in the extracted folder, then run powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\install.ps1
The passkey on this page is now verified. When you run install.sh, you must enter the same passkey again to complete installation. The installer uses that passkey to authenticate against WavuKazi and pull the images.
